Who we are
A furniture workshop, not a furniture warehouse
Budget Furniture Krish is a small family-run joinery in Verulam, north of Durban. Every piece that leaves us is cut, assembled and finished by hand in our own workshop — which is why we can build to a size nobody stocks, and still keep the price sensible.
Most of our work comes from people who measured a wall, a bay window or an awkward corner and couldn't find anything that fit. Send us the numbers and a photo of the space, and we'll tell you what it will cost before you commit to anything.

What we make
Six things we build most weeks
If it's made of board or timber and it has to fit a specific space, we've probably built one. These are the jobs that come through the workshop most often.
Bedroom furniture
Bed bases and headboards, pedestals, dressing tables and chests of drawers — built as a matching set so the grain and finish line up across the whole room.
Lounge & TV units
Wall units, TV stands, display shelving and coffee tables sized to the gap you actually have — including the awkward one next to the passage door.
Kitchen units & counters
Base units, wall cupboards, pantry pull-outs and counter tops. We work around existing plumbing and appliances so the kitchen stays usable while we build.
Dining & occasional tables
Six-seaters, eight-seaters and the long narrow ones for a small dining room. Solid tops, sealed against spills, with legs you can actually sit at without banging your knees.
Custom designs & one-offs
Shop counters, reception desks, study nooks, bunk beds, dog boxes, braai tables. Sketch it on paper or send a photo of something you like and we'll quote it.
